 Ron Plew, Co-Founder, Board Member
One of PTI’s founding owners, Ron Plew, made the decision to retire at the end of 2009. Prior to co-founding PTI in 1997, Ron’s experience included over 23 years in the Information technology field. His various responsibilities with the National Guard included maintaining the Oracle personnel database, training, employee development, formulating and generating computer programs in SQL, SQLPLUS, database quality assurance, and user problem solving. In addition, Ron worked as an Oracle Database Administrator providing a variety of services to the Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS). Ron assisted in the creation of an Oracle database management and development curriculum for Indiana University’s continuing studies program, consisting of 20 different classes in SQL, Oracle administration, Oracle development, database design, and UNIX system administration.
